Circle C Ranch | Circle C Ranch is one of the most desired master-panned community in southwest Austin. Circle C Ranch includes more than 5,400 homes. Amenities include an 18-hole golf course called the Grey Rock Golf Club, tennis club, three swim centers, a fire station, and more than 500 acres (2.0 km2) of dedicated parkland. The Circle C Swim Center has a year-round, outdoor, Olympic-size heated pool. A second, family oriented swimming pool complex, with office space and meeting rooms, was finished at the end of January 2012.

The Center promotes its mission to inspire the conservation of native plants through its internationally recognized sustainable gardens, education and outreach programs, research projects, and consulting work.

The Wildflower Center was founded by Lady Bird Johnson and Helen Hayes as the National Wildflower Research Center in 1982 and later renamed the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in 1997. It is a signature piece of Mrs. Johnson’s environmental legacy and is complementary to the Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library and the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs on the university’s campus. Originally opened on land in East Austin, the Center moved to its current site on a transition zone between the Edwards Plateau and Texas Blackland Prairies eco-regions in 1995.

Circle C Golf Club | Circle C Golf Club, located 20 minutes south of downtown, opened in 1993, and is without question, one of the nicest public courses the Capital City has to offer. While its location south of town sets it apart from the new development, its true uniqueness can be found in its solitude.

It's nothing but you and the course, with an occasional visit from the native wildlife. According to Assistant Manager Eric Dahlen, the serene environment is what draws almost 49,000 players a year. "Folks like the feel with no houses and no signs of the city."

The natural backdrop provides for picturesque holes, as well as many Challenges, as you navigate through the course. Out of the gate on the par-4, 423-yard first hole, you'll find the most common feature at Circle C and the main factor that can come between you and a good score -- trees -- and there are plenty of them
